Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

A: It takes approximately 5-7 days to process your initial order. Refills are shipped faster. The amount of time in transit depends entirely on Canada Post and US Postal services and while we can estimate 1-9 business days for delivery inside the United States, we cannot give a guarantee to that effect.

Q: Are the prices in Canadian or U.S. dollars?

A: All prices are in U.S. Dollars.

Q: Why do some Prescription drugs have different names in Canada?

A: In Canada some manufacturers may use a different name for the exact same drug. In some cases the drug may even look different but it is the same drug with the same active ingredients. An example of this is the popular drug ' Prilosec' , which in Canada is offered from the same manufacturer under the brand name ' Losec'.

Q: What is the maximum quantity that I may order?

A: The United States FDA limits the quantity of medication mailed to a resident of the USA to a 3-month supply for personal use. Q: Can you transfer my prescription from my local pharmacy?

A: No. Government regulations do not allow transfers from U.S. pharmacies. You must obtain a prescription from your doctor and fax it to us along with the patient questionnaire and product order form.

Q: Do you sell narcotics such as Tylenol #3, or Vicodin?

A: No, Government regulations do not allow shipment of any narcotics across the border.

Q: How long will it take to receive my order?

Q: What are generic Canadian drugs? What is the difference between a Brand name drug and a Generic Canadian drug?

A: Generic Canadian drugs are drugs on which the original manufacturer has lost the patent protection due to the passage of a certain amount of time. This time period is significantly shorter in Canada than in the United States. The generic Canadian drug has the exact same composition as the original Prescription Drug brand, but it is simply made by a different drug manufacturer. These generic Canadian drugs provide the same therapeutic effect as the brand name Prescription drugs. A generic Canadian drug is identical, or bioequivalent to a brand name Prescription drug in dosage form, safety, strength, route of administration, quality, performance characteristics and intended use. Although generic Canadian drugs are chemically identical to their branded counterparts, they are typically sold at substantial discounts compared to the branded Prescription drug prices.

Q: Are generic drugs you sell safe?

A: Absolutely, the Canadian generics we carry are just as safe and effective as U.S. generics or name brands. In Canada all drugs are very closely monitored by the government, which insures safety and quality. Canadian Pharmacy Choice dispenses both brand name and generic drugs. Both are of the same quality and identical to the drugs you now purchase in the USA from licensed pharmacies.

Q: Is there a difference between American and Canadian medication?

A: There is no difference! The identical companies produce most medications that are acquired by American and Canadian pharmacies.

Q: Are the drugs you carry the same quality as the drugs that I buy in the U.S.?

A: Yes. There is no difference in quality between U.S. and Canadian drugs. The same companies make most medications purchased by US and Canadian pharmacies. Very similar to the requirements in the U.S., the Canadian government has extremely stringent requirements and high standards coupled with a rigorous approval system for the manufacturing of medication. Many of the drugs sold in Canada are precisely the same as those sold in the U.S. and although identical drugs may appear physically different, their therapeutic effects are identical.

Q: Is it possible that the pills I received from Canadian Pharmacy Choice look different than the pills I have obtained locally in the U.S.?

A: They may look identical, but if they don't, there can be a few reasons for this; such as a different drug manufacturer, a different look prepared for the Canadian market from the same manufacturer or it may be generic and therefore manufactured by a different drug company. But please rest assured, they are the same.

Q: Is my personal information safe with you Canadian Pharmacy Choice?

A: Your personal information is only viewed by pharmacists, pharmacy technicians or doctors, all employees of Canadian Pharmacy Choice for the purpose of completing your order. All information is maintained safely in the strictest of confidence and is never released unless requested to by the patient to be returned.

Q: What is your return policy?

A: Due to the nature of these products, all sales are final and products are not returnable. As a licensed pharmacy, we are committed that your orders will be filled exactly as written by your doctor.

Q: Do you accept insurance plans?

A: No, we do not currently accept U.S. insurance plans. Insurance companies in the U.S. will not issue payments directly to a Canadian Pharmacy. However, we can provide you with a proper receipt for filing your insurance claim. Most insurance companies are now paying claims on drugs from Canadian pharmacies.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: Please check the how to order page for more information or contact us at info@canadianpharmacychoice.com.

Q: How is my order packaged?

A: The containers used for prescription drugs are identical to those used in the U.S.A. and then protectively wrapped, boxed, and insulated for shipping.

Q: How do I find the price of my medication?

A: You can search our database by entering the name (or just the first few letters for the drug you are looking for) into the search box then press the search button. If help is required in finding your medication, please contact Canadian Pharmacy Choice at info@canadianpharmacychoice.com.

Q: Are all foreign prescriptions available from Canada?

A: Almost all drugs available in first-world countries are available in Canada. To view our current inventory, click on Drugs Search. If there is a drug you need that you cannot find, please do not hesitate to fax us toll free at 1-800-914-1899. Or you can email us at info@canadianpharmacychoice.com.

Q: Are Canadian Pharmacy Choice drugs the same as foreign drugs?

A: In Canada, drugs are subject to a rigorous approval system with exceptionally high standards for manufacturing requirements for pharmaceuticals. Many of the medications sold in Canada are exactly the same as those in other countries. Some drugs manufactured in Canada are identical to those sold in other countries. Others may have a different look or be named differently than the one you are familiar with. For example, in Canada, a drug may have a slightly different name and be in the form of a capsule instead of in pill form. Despite the differences it is the same drug and is made by the same manufacturer to the same specifications. Canadian Pharmacy Choice will not send any prescription drugs that do not have an approved version in the consumer’s country.

Q: Do you fill prescriptions from foreign doctors?

A: Yes, once your prescription and the necessary forms have been forwarded to Canadian Pharmacy Choice, our pharmacists and licensed Canadian physician will approve these forms and your prescription will be filled. Repeats do not require above procedures and are shipped immediately.
